A Dublin man who was due to go on trial for murder at the Central Criminal Court this morning has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will be sentenced in October.

John McDonagh (aged 19), of Carton Road, Poppintree, had pleaded not guilty to murdering James Donoghue (aged 26) at Dane Rd., Ballymun, Dublin on September 10c, 2006, but changed that plea to not guilty of murder but guilty of manslughter.
