Body found in Newry laneway

Police in the North are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a laneway in Newry early this morning.

The discovery was made just off Upper Edward Street shortly before 1am.

The PSNI says initial inquiries suggest the man's death may be suspicious.

Anyone with information on the matter is being urged to come forward.
