Missing boys located safe and well after boat capsizes

A search and rescue operation has been stood down, after two 12-year-old boys, feared missing in a river in Co Limerick, were found safe and well.

A search and rescue operation has been stood down, after two 12-year-old boys, feared missing in a river in Co Limerick, were found safe and well.

The friends are understood to have taken a small boat out on the River Shannon near the village of Castleconnell at around 3pm.
