Mater A&E unit to remain closed until Monday

The A&E unit at the Mater Hospital in Dublin is expected to remain closed to the public until Monday as a result of flood damage that occurred earlier this week.

The unit is only accepting ambulance cases as repair work continues following torrential rainfall in the early hours of yesterday morning.
