Tesco strike deferred by union

Mandate Trade Union said today that it is deferring the planned industrial action scheduled for Thursday in 19 Tesco stores in order to facilitate discussions between the company and the union in the Labour Court.

Strike notice was served in Arklow, Wicklow; Ashbourne, Meath; Bloomfield, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin; Carlow; Crumlin, Dublin; Gorey, Wexford; Greystones, Wicklow; Killarney New Street, Kerry; Longford; Naas, Kildare; Navan, Meath; Newbridge, Kildare; Omni, Dublin; Poleberry, Waterford; Rathfarnham, Dublin; Roscrea, Tipperary; Roxboro, Limerick; Tralee Manor, Kerry; Wicklow.
