Man charged with assault victim's attempted murder

A 20-year-old man was today charged with the attempted murder of a man in west Belfast.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to hospital with face and head injuries after being found in the Moyard Parade area in the early hours of Sunday.

The accused was arrested by detectives last night.
