Consumer confidence rises to 14-month high

Consumer confidence in Ireland was at a 14-month high this month, according to the latest assessment by KBC Bank and the ESRI.

However, the two organisations say their consumer sentiment index is still well below average, suggesting most householders are still nervous about their finances.
