An 18 year-old woman accused of murdering her brother has asked the Central Criminal Court to set her trial at a venue in Waterford or Clonmel.

An 18 year-old woman accused of murdering her brother has asked the Central Criminal Court to set her trial at a venue in Waterford or Clonmel.

Caroline Brennan, of Love Lane, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, is accused of murdering her 22 year-old brother, Michael Brennan, at a family party in a house on Barrack Street, Castlecomer, on December 30, 2008.

Ms Brennan’s case was in the list to fix dates this morning and has been put back until next Monday to allow the court to determine whether or not her request can be met.
