New trial date for Kerry double killing

A new trial date has been set by the Central Criminal Court for a man accused of the double murder of a father and son in Co. Kerry.

A new trial date has been set by the Central Criminal Court for a man accused of the double murder of a father and son in Co. Kerry.

Thomas Barrett (aged 30), of Cleandries, Causeway, Co Kerry, is accused of the murder of Michael Hanrahan (aged 60) and Denis Hanrahan (aged 27) at their home near Moyvane on March 26, 2008.

Mr Barrett will be tried on April 26, 2010. The trial had been due to begin last month but was adjourned.
