Counselling was being offered tonight to the school friends of a 10-year-old boy who was rescued from a river but died later in hospital.

Daniel Andre was pulled from the River Bann in the Co Down village of Hilltown in Northern Ireland shortly before 5pm yesterday after he got into difficulties and went under the water.
