River rescue boy dies

A 10-year-old boy who was rescued from a river in the North has died in hospital, police said today.

Daniel Andre was pulled from the River Bann in the Co Down village of Hilltown at around 5pm last night, and emergency staff worked to resuscitate him at the scene.
