Police release two men held over Coleraine murder
Police in the North have released two men arrested yesterday as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Kevin McDaid in Co Derry.
The men, aged 28 and 31, were detained in the Coleraine area yesterday morning, but were later released without charge.
Mr McDaid, a 49-year-old Catholic community worker, was beaten to death by a loyalist mob in Coleraine on May 24th.
A second man was also badly beaten by the gang.
Nine men have so far been brought to court in connection with the incident, six of them charged with murdering Mr McDaid.
