Mother who defrauded €2,200 remanded on bail
A Kildare mother-of-four who attempted to defrauded €2,200 has been remanded on bail pending sentence next year.
Susan Dowling (aged 37) of The Park, Wolstan Haven, Kildare town, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to attempting to defraud by falsely pretending that the money was owed to another at Bank Of Ireland Head Quarters on Baggot Street on April 9, 2002.
Dowling is due to plead guilty to other similar charges on the date of her sentence hearing.
Mr Erwan Mill-Arden SC, defending, asked Judge Katherine Delahunt to give his client some time to allow her to get her affairs in order.
Judge Delahunt adjourned the sentencing to next January but warned Dowling that all her arrangements must be in place by that time.
