Coughlan faces Dáil criticism on rising unemployment
Sinn Féin TD Arthur Morgan has said Enterprise Minister Mary Coughlan should be ashamed of her performance record since she took up the job.
Mr Morgan was speaking in the Dáil last night during a joint Labour-Sinn Féin motion demanding action from the Government to tackle rising unemployment.
The motion criticises the failure of Fianna Fáil and the Green Party to prevent major job cuts by firms like Dell, Waterford Crystal and SR Technics.
Mr Morgan said almost 200,000 people had lost their jobs since Ms Coughlan was appointed as Enterprise Minister.
