Three quizzed in connection with teenager's murder
Two women and a man were today being questioned by detectives over the unsolved murder of a Limerick teenager.
The women, one in her late 30s and one in her late teens, and the man in his 20s, were arrested in morning raids in the city.
They are being held in connection with the brutal killing of 19-year-old Jeffery Hannon in November 2007.
His badly beaten body was found by a passer-by on a green area, just yards from his parents old home in O’Malley Park. He had suffered massive head injuries.
Gardaí at Roxboro Road made the three arrests under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and the suspects were being held at Roxboro Road, Henry Street and Mayorstone stations.
