SIPTU appeals for deal on CMH staff levels

SIPTU is urging the HSE and the Department of Finance to reach a common-sense agreement to ease staff shortages at the Central Mental Hospital.

The hospital has warned that it may have to stop accepting admissions within days unless 25 vacant nursing posts are filled.
