Belfast residents to protest against attacks on Poles
Residents of south Belfast are planning to hold a protest this evening to show their opposition to attacks on the homes of Polish people in the area.
A gang smashed the windows of two homes in the Belgravia and Wellesley Avenue areas over the area.
Nobody was injured in the attacks and the police made no arrests.
The homes of several Polish families have been attacked in Belfast in the past.
Around 40 Poles were reported to have moved out of the area following violence related to a football match between Poland and the North earlier this year.
