Classic debates to be re-enacted at Oireachtas family fun day
The corridors of power in Leinster House will open to the public for a second time this month with re-enactments of some of the Dáil’s most stirring debates, it was announced today.
Passionate exchanges between Eamon De Valera and Michael Collins over the Treaty and the row over Ernest Blyth’s shilling cut in the pension in 1924 will be brought back to life as part of the Oireachtas Family Fun Day.
