Davy: Thousands more set to lose jobs

Thousands more people will lose their jobs between now and late next year, according to Davy Research, a division of the stockbroking, wealth management and financial services company.

More than 400,000 people are now on the Live Register, putting the employment rate at a record high of almost 12%. However, according to Davy this is set to increase, peaking below 15% in late 2010.
