Labour and FF to share remaining East seats

It's expected Labour and Fianna Fail will take the second and third seats in Ireland East.

Counting is set to resume at 9 o'clock in the morning.

Mairead McGuinness earlier became the first MEP in the country to gain a seat in this year's euro elections.

Nessa Childers of Labour is currently in second, with Liam Aylward of Fianna Fail in third.

Turnout was high in the constituency, just below 57%.
