Fine Gael are making gains in the local elections all over the country.

Fine Gael's Eoghan Murphy has been elected to Dublin City Council for the Pembroke/Rathmines area, while Maura Maguire-Lynch has been elected to Cavan County Council on the first count in the Belturbet area.
