Teenagers injured in NI street disturbance

Two teenagers were taken to hospital after street disturbances, the PSNI said today.

They had non life-threatening injuries after the incident in Cloughreagh Park, Bessbrook, last night.

It was reported that a man had been seen carrying what appeared to be a handgun.

A man in his 20s has been arrested and a pellet-firing weapon removed for further examination.

The man is helping police with their inquiries.

They have appealed for information.
