Anglo debt rating downgraded by Moody’s

Anglo Irish Bank's senior debt rating has been downgraded from A2 to A3 by the international credit-rating agency Moody's.

The move follows the nationalised bank's latest financial results, which showed a loss of €4bn in the six months to March this year.
