Fine Gael confident of local election success

Fine Gael is set to become the dominant force on local councils across the country this weekend, the party claimed today.

Holding a final news conference ahead of polling day on Friday, Leader Enda Kenny said voters were crying out for change as he had visited 120 towns across Ireland over the past five weeks.
