The Taoiseach is refusing to speculate on whether or not the Government will be looking to make a 50/50 deal with the 18 religious orders named in the Ryan report.

The Taoiseach is refusing to speculate on whether or not the Government will be looking to make a 50/50 deal with the 18 religious orders named in the Ryan report.

It follows comments from Government Chief Whip Pat Carey, that the compensation scheme for abuse victims should be funded equally by both the State and the orders.
