Man arrested in Derry following alleged assault

A man has been arrested in Co. Derry in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl last night.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on a beach at Culmore Point during a party sometime between 10pm and 11.15pm.

The 20-year-old man is being held by police in Derry.
