Gardaí warn drivers to take care this weekend

Gardaí are warning drivers to take care on the roads this bank holiday weekend.

It comes as two people were killed in separate crashes in Mayo and Limerick yesterday evening.

A woman in her 50s died in a three-vehicle crash on the N5 in Co Mayo at approximately 6.30pm.

Earlier, a 23-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Limerick to Kerry Road.

Eleven people were killed or seriously injured in crashes during the June bank holiday last year.
