A 54-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being found with severe burns on a road in Belfast this morning.

A 54-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being found with severe burns on a road in Belfast this morning.

The woman was discovered on the Newtownards Road just before 4.30am.

The PSNI says it is investigating how she obtained her injuries, which are believed to be life-threatening.
