Dept of Health confirms third swine flu case
The Department of Health has confirmed a third case of swine flu in Ireland.
The department's chief medical officer says a woman from the east of the country who recently returned from New York has tested positive for the H1N1 strain of the virus.
Another woman who also recently returned from New York tested positive for the virus earlier this week, but officials say the two cases are not connected.
Both women are being treated in their homes with anti-viral drugs.
