Green deputy calls for abuse victims' remembrance day

The Green Party deputy leader Mary White has called on the Government to declare a national day of remembrance for those who have suffered abuse in this country.

Commenting on the aftermath of the Ryan Report of the Commission into Child Abuse Deputy White said: "Finding a way to bring closure to this sorry episode in our history must be above politics.
