The Labour Party has suggested that the Conference of the Religious in Ireland be excluded from the social partnership process if it is not prepared to renegotiate the indemnity deal on child abuse.

CORI - which represents Catholic religious orders - is refusing to renegotiate the deal, which will see these orders pay just 10% of the financial redress being given to victims of child abuse.
