Cabinet to discuss fallout from child abuse report

The cabinet is due to discuss the fallout from last week's child abuse report when it holds a special meeting in Dublin today.

The report from the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse has prompted widespread calls for a renegotiation of the indemnity deal the Government reached with religious orders in 2002.
