Cowen: We will survive

Taoiseach Brian Cowen insisted today that he will not consider his position despite a drop in support in the run-up to the local and European elections.

The Fianna Fáil leader said his party would survive polling day on June 5 and would continue to implement policies to drive the country out of the recession.
