Greens deny exit talk

The Green Party today denied it was jumping from a sinking ship as support for Government continued to plummet in opinion polls.

Opposition politicians claim calls by the junior coalition partner to renegotiate its programme for Government should have happened before a succession of disastrous budgets that attacked the vulnerable in society and not after a drop in support.
