Australian police search for missing Irishman

Police in Australia are searching for a 26-year-old Waterford man who has gone missing in the Sydney area.

Sean Walsh was due to board a flight home last Tuesday, but failed to turn up at the airport.

He was last seen by his housemates last Sunday.

Mr Walsh has been on a year-long trip around the world and arrived in Sydney last November.

His two sisters have flown to Sydney in an effort to trace his whereabouts.
