75 jobs to go in Donegal

A total of 75 jobs are set to be lost in Co Donegal, it was confirmed today.

James Likely Ltd, a mechanical building services contractor based in Ballyshannon, has gone into liquidation.

The collapse of the construction industry, high operating costs and an increase in bad debts are among the factors being blamed for the company's demise.

Local Fine Gael Councillor Barry O'Neill says the news is devastating to the community.
