Man beaten with pool cues in Co Antrim attack

Police in the North are investigating a paramilitary style attack in which a young man was beaten with pool cues.

The incident happened in an alleyway close to Glenfield community centre in Carrickfergus shortly before 1am this morning.

The 24-year-old victim suffered a broken nose and other facial injuries after being threatened and then attacked by a gang of men.
