Ahern to present anti-crime proposals to Cabinet

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern is due to put a package of measures aimed at tackling gangland crime before his ministerial colleagues tomorrow.

The proposals are expected to make it a specific offence to direct the activities of a criminal gang.
