Merging of accreditation bodies delayed until next year

The proposed amalgamation of three accreditation bodies announced in last year's Budget is not now expected to take place until next year.

It is planned that the education and training awards bodies FETAC and HETAC will merge with NQAI, the National Qualifications Authority.
