Couple die in Mayo house fire

The bodies of a man and a woman in their mid-50s have been found at a house in Co Mayo.

It's believed the married couple died in a house fire overnight, in their home in Muing, Barnatra, in Belmullet.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and gardaí are investigating.

The scene was sealed off for a technical examination.
