Visteon workers vote to end sit-in
Redundant car workers at a plant in the North today voted to end their 34-day sit-in.
Former Visteon staff backed a deal to end the bitter dispute over the collapse of the west Belfast factory by 147-34.
There are improved redundancy payments and compensation for holiday pay and in lieu of notice.
However, they are refusing to leave the Finaghy premises until the payments are actually in their bank accounts.
