Welfare system criticised at Dublin conference

Ireland's social welfare system has come under fire at a major conference on the state of the economy in Dublin today.

Experts from the ESRI and the OECD have expressed concern about Ireland's over-dependence on social welfare benefits and a lack of programmes to help people get back to work.
