Dublin Bus says services should be returning to normal this lunchtime on all routes except those served by the Harristown depot.

Thousands of passengers were disrupted for a third day this morning when drivers at a number of depots refused to work as normal.

The unofficial industrial action began at Harristown on Sunday, but spread to Clontarf yesterday and to the Conyngham Road and Summerhill depots this morning.

Dublin Bus says full services have now been restored from Clontarft, Conygham Road and Summerhill.

It also says it expects services from Harristown to be restored this afternoon.

The dispute centres on the introduction of new schedules as part of a cost-cutting plan that has the backing of the Labour Court.

The striking drivers say they have not been given enough time to come to grips with the changes.
