Man fails in appeal against conviction for murder of wife

A South African man has failed in his appeal against his conviction for the murder of his Irish wife at their home in Co Meath more than four years ago.

The three judge Court of Criminal Appeal said it was satisfied to dismiss Anton Mulder (aged 47) appeal against his conviction for strangling his wife Colleen.
