Lufthansa talks to continue

Both sides in the dispute at Lufthansa Technik in Dublin are to meet for talks today.

The meeting follows talks between management and unions at the company and the National Implementation Body yesterday.

The NIB has recommended that both sides engage in urgent and intensive discussions to secure the 465 jobs at risk at the Rathcoole plant.

The NIB says the discussions should be concluded by Tuesday and that no action should be taken by either side until then.
