Man due in court over death of GAA star’s brother

A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court in the North later today in connection with the death of Connor McCusker over the weekend.

The 31-year-old died after being attacked outside a nightclub in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

He had been on a night out with his brother Niall, the Derry GAA vice-captain.

A young man arrested following the assault has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear in Strabane Magistrates' Court today.
