Woman recovering from mountain rescue in Mayo

A woman in her 50s is recovering this morning after being rescued from Croagh Patrick in Co. Mayo last night.

The woman fell and injured her leg while on her way down the mountain with her sister.

Mayo Mountain Rescue brought her to safety and she was taken to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar to be treated for her injuries.
