Man charged in connection with Collins killing
A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Roy Collins in Limerick.
The 23-year-old was due to appear before Limerick District Court this afternoon.
A 19-year-old man who was also being questioned has been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A 27-year-old woman who was arrested on Tuesday was released without charge this morning.
35-year-old Roy Collins was gunned down at Roxboro Shopping Centre in the city last Thursday, April 9.
Meanwhile, gardaí investigating the murder have uncovered another firearm. The pistol was found at a derelict house in O'Malley Park last night.
Yesterday, a rifle and component parts of another firearm were found in the city.
