Gardaí in Limerick must make a decision today on whether to charge or release two men being held in connection with the murder of Roy Collins last week.

The men - aged 19 and 23 - were arrested at a house in the Ballinacurra Weston city area shortly after the 35-year-old father-of-two was shot dead at an amusement arcade in the Roxboro Shopping Centre.

Legally, they can only be held for seven days before they must be charged or released.

A woman in her 20s was also arrested in connection with the murder earlier this week.

Yesterday, gardaí investigating the case recovered a number of guns during searches in Limerick.
