A woman was detained this morning in connection with the fatal shooting of the 35-year-old father-of-two at an amusement arcade in the Roxboro Shopping Centre.

Meanwhile, gardaí have been granted a further 48 hours to question the two men arrested shortly after the shooting last Thursday.

The pair, aged 19 and 22, were arrested in Ballinacurra Weston last Thursday afternoon.

Chief Superintendent John Kerin told Limerick District Court this morning that gardaí were following 351 lines of inquiry, had taken 200 memos and statements, had acquired CCTV footage from 18 premises and were still searching for the murder weapon.
